Why A-1 Appliance exists
Most Miami homeowners we meet have already been burned by a previous repair company. Either the diagnostic fee turned into a $400 surprise, or the "fix" lasted three weeks, or the tech tried to upsell a new appliance instead of repairing the one in front of them. We built A-1 Appliance as the opposite of that experience — written quotes, OEM parts, real warranties, and zero pressure to upgrade what we could fix.
How we train
Every A-1 Appliance technician carries factory training on at least three major brands. Our senior techs are EPA Section 608 certified for sealed-system refrigerant work. We rotate continuing education quarterly so the team stays current on connected appliances (Wi-Fi diagnostics, app-paired washers, smart ovens) — the new failure modes the industry didn't see five years ago.
How we price
Flat-rate, written, before we lift a wrench. Period. The diagnostic fee is published on every invoice and waived when you authorize the repair. We don't charge by the hour because no homeowner should pay more because a tech took longer than another tech would have. If the job needs a part we don't carry, you'll know the part cost and the lead time before we leave your house.
A note on warranty
Our 90-day workmanship warranty covers labor on the repair we performed. If the same fault returns inside the window, we're back at no charge — no tricky exclusions, no "but this is technically a different part." The OEM parts we install carry the manufacturer's part warranty on top of that, typically one year.
